Customer Care Lifecycle Specialist Job Description
The Customer Service Specialist handles customer calls regarding billing, handset problems, activation and entry of new accounts into our systems. Once the customer is satisfied and his/her problem has been resolved, you are required to transition into sales and educate and offer products/services that would be to the customer's advantage.
Retention Specialist Job Description
The retention specialist is part sales representative and part care representative and in every customer interaction, they face the ultimate sales objection handling test, selling customers on the reasons why they should stay with Nextel.
Position Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older
- 1-3 years of previous customer service/sales experience
- Strong computer skills using Windows based systems
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends
- Must be willing to sell Sprint Nextel products or services on every eligible call
- Background check/drug-screen required
Shift Information
- Our Call Center is open
the following hours
- Monday - Saturday hours of operation: 8am to 12 Midnight
- Sunday hours of operation: 10am - 10pm
Pay
- Base pay begins at $12.02 per hour
- Commission is paid on all sales made. Commission target is $500.00 per month with the opportunity to earn up to $2,500.00 per month
- Representatives become eligible for benefits after 30 days of employment

Training
The first 5 weeks will be devoted to a full time, paid training program. Training is held Monday – Friday. Once you have successfully completed training, you will need to be flexible to work anytime during the hours of operation, including overtime, weekends and holidays.
