Technical Support Specialist Job Description
The Technical Support Specialist handles customer calls for technical assistance. This would include problems with handsets, features and services provided by Sprint/Nextel. This would include but not be limited to problems with internet access, games, ringers, text messaging, instant messaging and downloads to our phones.
Advanced Technical Support Specialist Job Description
The Advanced Technical Support Specialist facilitates resolutions for customers with technical issues. This would include troubleshooting devices such as Connection Cards, PDA's and other Sprint/Nextel products. Customer experience required. The steps of troubleshooting require verbal interaction with the customer. Must have good reasoning skills to assist in understanding the needs of customer requesting assistance.
Position Requirements
- Must be 18 years old
- 1-3 years of previous technical service background/school
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights & weekends
- Strong computer skills using Windows based systems
- Background check/drug-screen required
Shift Information
- Our Call Center is open 24 hours, 7 days a week.
Pay
- Base pay begins at $12.88 per hour and goes up based on experience
- Commission is paid on all sales made. Commission target is $400 per month with the opportunity to make up to $3,000.00 per month
- Specialists become eligible for benefits after 30 days of employment

Training
The first 8 to 10 weeks will be devoted to a full time, paid training program. Training is held Monday – Friday. Once you have successfully completed training, you will need to be flexible to work anytime during the hours of operation, including overtime, weekends and holidays.
